HER Campaign’s mission is to help HER heal, grow, and find purpose. We do this through providing residential programs for survivors of human trafficking. We envision a world where families everywhere are trained and equipped to be a safe place for survivors.
Safe House:
We acknowledge the first step to stabilization is safe shelter and basic needs. When you step into the Safe House, you have access to a bed, shower, clothing, food, toiletry grab bags, and compassionate care.
The 3-5 Day Safe House is a quiet place to seek safety and rest while you make an informed decision for your next steps. Loving shelter staff are there to provide care and support while you assess a list of community and nationwide resources that present options to best serve you at this stage in your journey.
If you decide you are ready to step into a recovery program for survivors of human trafficking, the HER Campaign Case Manager comes to the Safe House to explain our 30-90 Emergency Shelter Program. If you feel that is the best fit for you, intake is done and you are transported to the shelter. If HER Campaign is not the best fit, we desire to help resource you elsewhere that can fit your unique and individual needs.
Emergency Shelter:
An Emergency Shelter is designed to assess and address the most common variables that cause victims to relapse and achieve stabilization through holistic therapy addressing mind, body, and spirit.
Our Emergency Shelter provides beds for up to 8 survivors of sex trafficking per 30 to 90 days and up to 50+ women a year. The Emergency Shelter serves women 18+ including trafficking survivors who are pregnant, have disabilities, and/or handicaps. The shelter provides each survivor with next step therapy, mental health and wellness assessments, legal advocacy and mapping, case management, and long-term residential placement.
Family Alliance:
HER Campaign’s solution for long term residential care for survivors is the Family Alliance Program, an expansion of our HER Refuge safe home. This program’s mission is to raise up families to become a safe place for survivors by providing long term residential care, integrating survivors into trained and equipped host families.
Host families go through a vetting process and yearlong mentorship program to become trained and equipped to begin walking the healing journey with survivors. Host families partner with HER Campaign strategic partners to provide wrap around resources for the survivors in their home including but not limited to basic daily living skills, creative therapies (equine, art, etc.), medical, group and individual therapy, job skills training, and employment opportunities.
Transitional:
The Marly House is our Transitional Living Program for adult women survivors of human trafficking. This home serves 4 women at a time, including women with children for up to 2 years while they work towards economic independence. Our Transitional Living Program will help women continue in healing through counseling and community activities, while promoting reintegration into society through parenting education, job training, and employment opportunities. Residents are encouraged to start a savings account and learn budgeting and financial investment to help set them up for success once they step into a place of their own.
The Marly House is a 6,400 square feet 3-story facility located on 1.5 acres in a calm, residential area outside a small Montana town. The property includes an art therapy studio, multiple vegetable and flower gardens, fruit trees, playground area, and is zoned for animals.
