Volunteer Position: Social Media Ambassador

Commitment: 3–5 hours per week (flexible) with a minimum 3-month commitment

Position Overview

EVENforONE is looking for passionate Social Media Ambassadors to help amplify our mission to prevent human trafficking and support survivors. This volunteer role empowers you to share survivor-centered, trauma-informed content, raise awareness in your networks, and engage online communities in meaningful ways. Social Media Ambassadors are the public face of our organization on social platforms, helping educate and inspire action.

Key Responsibilities

• Share and promote EVENforONE content on your social media platforms at least once per week
• Help raise awareness for campaigns, events, and advocacy initiatives
• Create original posts that align with our values and communication guidelines
• Engage respectfully with followers, answering questions or directing them to the organization as needed
• Provide feedback and ideas to help improve social media outreach

Qualifications

• Active social media presence on one or more platforms (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok)
• Strong written communication skills and ability to craft clear, engaging messages
• Alignment with EVENforONE’s mission, values, and survivor-centered, trauma-informed approach
• Commitment to accurately representing human trafficking and exploitation 
• Reliable, responsible, and able to represent the organization positively online
• Comfort in discussing social justice, human rights, and anti-trafficking topics respectfully
• Must acquire and pass a background check

Training & Support Provided

• Orientation on EVENforONE’s mission, branding, and trauma-informed communication
• Social media guidelines and best practices for ethical engagement
• Ongoing support and feedback from the communications team
